Support Resources
Ministry of Health (MoH) has prepared a number of support resources pertaining to COVID-19:
- For queries on COVID-19, members of the public can refer to the MoH website, www.moh.gov.my (Ask a Doctor) for advice from Family Medicine Specialists.
- For those arriving from overseas, MoH has advised to not go directly to a government healthcare facility. Instead, members of the public can seek medical advice as follows:
- Virtual Health Advisory @ www.moh.gov.my : 8.30am – 5.00pm daily
- National Crisis Preparedness & Response Centre (CPRC) Hotline: 03-8810 200/ 600/ 700
- After 5.00pm, DoctorOnCall at Doctor On Call or BookDoc at www.bookdoc.com

Sunway Pre-U FAQs
Sunway College campus will be closed during the MCO and students/staff cannot attend/conduct classes on campus or participate in any other activities. The College residences will remain open to residents.
Yes. Classes are delivered online. Students are advised to check for details on their respective programme’s digital platform – E-learn, MS Team or Google Classroom.
Yes, attendance will be taken and students are expected to adhere to their programme’s attendance policy.
The library and teaching and learning facilities on campus will not be available. Students should not come to the campus. However, the Online Library will be available.

The last date to enroll for A-Levels, AUSMAT, CIMP and MUFY is 6th April 2020. The last date to enroll for SFP is 10th April 2020.

No. The University aims to provide an appropriate teaching and learning experience through a variety of delivery methods and will provide the necessary resources irrespective of delivery method.

FOR STAFF
Staff are not permitted to come into the campus during the closure period, with the exception of those offering critical and essential services such as security staff. However, the University will continue to pay staff and will expect them to work from home as best they can under the circumstances.
Academic staff are expected to prepare themselves for online teaching. In addition to the in-house training and support, other training materials for staff for online teaching has been shared by Pei San and also others via emails.
No. The semester is already in progress, all classes should run according to the agreed timetable online. Lecturers should work creatively to ensure teaching, learning and assessment can be delivered effectively in the current exceptional circumstances.

Supermarkets and grocery stores will remain open and the government has confirmed there are adequate food supplies. It is expected that supplies will stabilise in the shops after the initial rush at the start of the MCO closure period.
The College campus will re-open on 1st April, unless there is any further restriction by the government.

In on-line teaching delivery, subject lecturers will specify the attendance expectation. Typically, attendance may be taken during online synchronous learning sessions. Please check with your subject lecturer for further information.
