The Diploma in Communication (DCOMM) programme is designed to develop skills and knowledge of students poised to enter the high demand advertising, corporate communication, public relations, marketing and broadcasting industry.
DCOMM graduates can choose to progress into the following:
- BA (Hons) in Communication, Sunway University
- BA (Hons) in Advertising and Branding
- and other related degree programmes.
Programme Highlight
The DCOMM programme provides the knowledge and the contemporary skills for a global career in communication. With digital communication and media growing at a rapid pace, graduates of this programme will be equipped with the necessary skills, creative and innovative ideas, attitude and aptitude to excel in this fast-paced, high demand industry.
The Interdisciplinary modules in this programme provide global and cultural awareness, entrepreneurial literacy and community service literacy.
Through practical instructional and teaching methods, unique assessment strategies and conducive learning environment of the programme, students will be attained life-long learning and innovative skills. While exposure to the various information, media and technology modules, students will develop collaborative and communicative skills.
Students practical experience and networking opportunities will be gained through internships and professional placement.
