Module 1

  • Tuition only: RM10,000

  • Tuition only: € 9,950
  • Date: 3rd August 2020 – 28th February 2021

Option 2

To be taken concurrently with Sunway’s Pre-University programme:

Module 1
  • A1 German Language + AUSMAT or CIMP January 2020
  • Tuition only: RM 6,000
  • The classes will be held every Saturday (4 hours) for 38 weeks
  • Classes to commence on 1st February - 19th December

  • 4.5 hours a day of classes from Monday - Friday

Module 3
  • Intensive German language course – Level C1 @ Carl Duisberg Centre Cologne, Germany
  • Tuition only: €7,600
  • Period: August 2021 - February 2022

German Higher Education System

German curricula emphasise independent studies. Students are expected to do independent research, prepare oral reports or term papers, attend lectures and small group discussions.

Most common types of higher education institutions in Germany

  • Universities and Technical Universities (“TU”) emphasise theoretical research.
  • Universities of Applied Sciences (“FH”) emphasise practical knowledge and maintain close relations to the industries.

Most common degree courses

  • Bachelor degrees normally take 6 or 7 semesters (3 to 3.5 years) to complete. The most common Bachelor degrees in Germany are B.A. (Bachelor of Arts), B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science), and B.Eng. (Bachelor of Engineering).
  • Master degrees are consecutive to a Bachelor degrees and can be earned in 2 to 4 semesters (1 to 2 years). A Master degrees is usually a specialisation relating to the Bachelor subject. A Master degree programme can be entered immediately upon completion of a Bachelor degree or following a few years of work experience.

German language requirements

  • “TestDaF” or “TELC” (test of German as a foreign language).
  • “DSH” (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber).
